a derry-based writer, archivist, and multi-disciplinary artist interested in personal relationships with the body.

in 2019, they graduated from trinity college dublin with a first class honours degree in english studies. they now split their time between derry and belfast in order to complete an MA in Poetry at QUB and train with the Lyric Theatre Drama Studio.

they are currently working on projects within the Seamus Heaney Centre, Verbal Arts Centre, National Youth Theatre of GB & NI, and Lyric Theatre. they also present a weekly radio show promoting the irish language through youth culture with their best friend Alanna MacNamee.

writing under the pseudonym soso, their work can be seen in magazines and zines or on the internet [@ohbysoso].

they are slowly working through a few archive projects over the next few years: the Honest Ulsterman Archive [HUMAN], digitising the Icarus back catalogue, & the Context x Orchard Archive with the VOID gallery. they started the website Understanding Icarus which they submitted as part of their degree under the supervision of Dr. Julie Bates. They work to digitise and maintain the Icarus magazine archive online.

they are an active member of the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and Reimagine Remake Replay.

they are a former deputy editor for Tn2 Magazine and design editor for Trinity News, with awards for newspaper and magazine design. they were the acting chair of trinity publications, a collective of independent publications based on trinity college campus.
